Every guide follows the same rules, so you know what you are reading.

Official sources first

Visa rules come from embassies and government e-visa portals. Opening hours, ticket prices and timetables come from the attraction, the tourism board or the operator. Every guide lists its sources at the bottom.

Written for your passport

Entry rules depend on nationality. Our guides are written for Filipino travellers; if you hold another passport, check the official source for your own case.

Dated facts

Each page shows the date we last checked it. Prices and rules change, so treat that date as the freshness of the information and confirm on the official page before you pay.

Costs in PHP

Local prices are converted to PHP at the rate we note in the guide and rounded, because your card or exchange will not give you the exact mid-market rate anyway.

No invented experiences

We do not write "we loved this place" about places we have not been, and we do not publish made-up reviews. If a page is a first-hand trip report, it says so at the top.
